Challenge
Arid and semi-arid communities face water constraints, climate variability and limited access to practical modern farming technologies.
Our Response
AgriPlant Kenya collaborated with local and development partners to provide practical hydroponics training and support the establishment of a protected food-production demonstration. The initiative engaged students, youth and women while creating a platform for continued learning.
Activities
- Hands-on hydroponics training
- Climate-smart agriculture awareness
- Greenhouse and food-production demonstration support
- Technical mentorship
Why It Matters
